Meet the Staff!

Director: Mark Starr

Office Phone: 216.368.8523 | Email: mark.starr@case.edu

About Mark:

I came to CWRU at age 18 and have never left. I graduated with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Law. I am a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity and have been an active volunteer for Delt since 2004. I started working in the Office of Greek Life in 2001 and have been the Director since 2011. I love CWRU and think that one of the best things about it is its Greek community. I love my job and am proud to work with such outstanding men and women. When I'm not at work or at a Delt event you can usually find me in my front yard in Lakewood playing wiffle ball with my kids (Griffin and Delaney) and my wife Heather.

Associate Director: Amie Jackson

Office Phone: 216.368.1363 | Email: amie.jackson@case.edu

About Amie:

I currently serve as the Associate Director of Greek Life in the Office of Greek Life at Case Western Reserve University.  I have proudly been part of this community for over 7 years.  My work is focused on fostering restorative practices within the Greek Life judicial process; advancing the leadership development of our students through the Academy, Order of Omega, and the Pytte Cup process; and finding unique ways of measuring the impact our office, student leaders, and organizations have in advancing the Greek experience. I work closely with the Vice Presidents of Administration of IFC and PHC, Order of Omega, and the Greek Leadership Intern.  I joined Kappa Kappa Gamma while a student at Butler University and fell in love with all the possibilities it presented others and me with! Since then I dabbled in sales and the non-profit world, but ultimately landed in Higher Education working in Greek Life - first at the University of Maryland and now Case Western Reserve - for the past 11 years. When I am not at work, I am spending time with my husband, Keith, and my daughter, Ella! We love exploring Cleveland and all it has to offer!

Manager for Greek Residential Programs & Culture of Care: Jamie Linn

Office Phone: 216-368-0118 | Email: jml249@case.edu

About Jamie:

I am currently the Manager for Greek Residential Programs and Culture of Care. Some of my main responsibilities are to work with SMARRT (Students Meeting About Risk and Responsibility), our Culture of Care Initiative, any other kind of proactive risk management, as well as some Greek Housing responsibilities. I came to the Office of Greek Life in 2014, really enjoy my job, and feel lucky to work with all the students. I got my undergrad degree from Eastern Michigan University where I majored in communication and joined Tau Kappa Epsilon. I then went to James Madison University where I earned my masters in College Student Personnel Administration. Living in Cleveland is great and I love to take advantage of all the places there are to eat and all of the live music.

Manager of Greek Councils: Jamie Cook

Office Phone: 216.368.0241 | Email: jamie.mcmillen@case.edu

About Jamie:

I am currently serving as the Manager for Greek Councils in the Greek Life Office at Case Western Reserve University. My main responsibility is to advise the group of students who make up the Interfraternity Congress and the Panhellenic Council. As an undergraduate, I attended Miami University (of Ohio!) and earned my Bachelors in Psychology and Family Relationships. After my time there, I joined the staff at Phi Mu Fraternity's National Headquarters and that work is what made me fall in love with student and leadership development. I then headed to beautiful Tampa, Florida to earn my Masters Degree in College Student Affairs from the University of South Florida! I am still involved with Phi Mu in a volunteer capacity and also enjoy facilitating leadership programs with the NIC and other national organizations when time allows.

Department Assistant: Marie Blakemore

Office Phone: 216.368.1051 | Email: marie.blakemore@case.edu

About Marie:

I have enjoyed my role as the Department Assistant for Greek Life since 2012. Every day I continue to learn from our students how the fraternity and sorority experience positively impacts their lives. In 2016 I was named as an honorary member of the Order of Omega. Cleveland is such a great city, and I encourage all students to explore and enjoy the wonderful Metroparks, live music, great food, and especially, Lake Erie. My husband Paul and I have lived in South Euclid for more than 12 years.
